For the last few days, we’ve been exploring the attributes of a good leader.

L – Leaders are learners.

E – Leaders are encouragers.

A – Leaders are attractive.

D – Leaders are decisive.

E – Leaders know the importance of equipping their team for success.

R–  Leaders are reproducers.

And now to complete the word LEADERS with S: Good leaders are seers.

Great leaders always see ahead. They have a vision for the future.

Effective leadership is about being able to see ahead. Leadership is the ability to lead others to places they could not have gone without you.

Seeing ahead and being able to cast a vision is a skill – a skill that can be learnt.

Teams today want confidence that their leader knows where they are going.
